2002年4月中，從桃園一家寵物店把你抱回，全身發抖的你，露出可愛又純真的模樣，讓我們全家每個人都不由自主的愛上你，急著上網找到一個最適合你的名字─Sparky。你的成長，在桌腳牙印班班、鞋子不成對、沙發皮破損下，一天天的過去。記得爸爸出差半個月，回家打開門時，對突然長大許多的你驚訝不已；又記得你第一次會在電線桿抬腳尿尿；還記得帶你出門散步再也不是一件輕鬆休閒的事，我們才發覺你已長大成熟，一身金黃色的長毛，迷人可親又憨厚的樣子，永遠友善又熱情搖著尾巴迎接人。雖然全家都忙碌生活，但每個人回家最大的心願就是抱你、親你和相擁幫你搔癢。很意外的，媽媽在網路上幫你找到女朋友，她也很爭氣的一胎幫你生了八個胖寶寶，我們留下最可愛的Ginger，從她出生，你們每天都相處在一起。
每到放假日，就看到你高興的繞圈圈跳舞，因為你，每次出門我們都充滿活力，你陪我們走過許多歡樂的地方，帶給我們無止盡的幸福與滿足。你每天都高高興興的迎接我們回家，完全沒讓我們查覺你已不舒服。你突然的離開，讓我多麼的不捨與難過… 。姊姊告訴媽媽你去做小天使了，要媽媽放下心，但，Sparky，我真的好想你，好想你。

Sparky was our dearest love. Everyone who knew him loved him so very much.
He was a big dog with a big heart. He was tough from the outside but gentle inside. He had the most glamorous look that charmed everyone who met him, but it was his docility and sweet nature that captured everyone’s heart.
Sparky loved to go out and meet new friends. He often got into trouble, but only because he had a free spirit and we love him just the way he was.
He is in heaven now. Heaven gives him fields, lots of fields. I know Sparky is happy there, no more pain and constraint, he can run as much as he wants, he can stay as long as he likes and this can mean forever. He will be there when old friends show up. He will be there at the door waiting, like he always was.
Our dear Sparky, we will miss you, you were and always will be loved by everyone.
