會議說明 Introduction：
近年來，隨著國內外飼主對寵物健康的關注與飼養觀念的轉變，寵物食品注重營養成分及科學實證成為重要國際趨勢。我國農業部2024年9月公告寵物食品管理法草案，盼接軌國際標準以保護寵物健康及消費者權益，並同步營造產業良性發展環境。
本次論壇銜接台灣最具規模寵物展，邀集美歐日韓專家、國內學研單位及產業代表，共同探討在兼顧營養需求與原料安全前提下，如何建構寵物食品科研創新生態系，進一步聚焦於營養標準發展挑戰與科學研究體系建立、原料科學管理之產官學協力機制，以及寵物食品實務創新模式與未來發展趨勢等議題，期借鏡國際經驗並促進產官學研各界交流，公私協力共同強化我國寵物食品產業發展。
In recent years, with growing attention to pet health and changing pet ownership practices both domestically and internationally, the focus on nutritional content and science-based evidence in pet food has become an important global trend. In September 2024, Taiwan’s Ministry of Agriculture announced a draft Pet Food Management Act, aiming to align with international standards to safeguard pet health and consumer rights, while simultaneously fostering a sound and sustainable environment for industry development.
This forum will be held in conjunction with Taiwan’s largest pet exhibition and brings together experts from the United States, Europe, Japan, and Korea, along with domestic representatives from academia, research institutions, and industry. It will focus on how to build a pet food scientific research and innovation ecosystem that balances nutritional requirements with ingredient safety. Key sections, including challenges in the development of nutritional standards and establishment of scientific research frameworks, public–private–academic collaboration mechanisms for ingredient science management, as well as pet food practical innovation and development trends will be thoroughly discussed. The forum seeks to strengthen collaboration among government, academia, research institutions, and industry, and to collectively enhance the development of Taiwan’s pet food industry.
