小動物腎臟醫學研究室由國立臺灣大學臨床動物醫學研究所的李雅珍教授主持。李雅珍教授是亞洲獸醫內科專科醫學會（AiCVIM）認證的內科專科會士，擁有豐富的臨床經驗與研究背景。本研究室致力於對犬貓腎臟疾病的認識與探討，研究範圍涵蓋其調控基因、腎臟生物標誌物以及各類尿毒素的病生理機制。我們同時進行臨床測試，致力於發展更為精確的診斷工具與治療方法。此外，針對在本校動物醫院出現嚴重腎病的犬貓患者，提供先進的腎臟替代療法，提升治療效果。
The Small Animal Nephrology Lab, affiliated with the Institute of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at National Taiwan University and led by Dr. Ya-Jane Lee, PhD, DVM, DAiCVIM, focuses on uncovering the intricate mechanisms of small animal renal diseases, including gene regulation, renal biomarkers, and the pathophysiological effects of uremic toxins. Our research aims to develop more sensitive diagnostic tools and precise treatments for kidney diseases. In addition to research, the lab offers advanced clinical therapies such as intermittent hemodialysis (HD), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and sustained low-efficiency daily diafiltration (SLEDD-f) for patients requiring renal replacement therapy.
